Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, une meilleure compr\u00e9hension du syst\u00e8me immunitaire a permis de d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles th\u00e9rapies anticanc\u00e9reuses qui tirent parti de la capacit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me immunitaire \u00e0 tuer les cellules tumorales. Ces immunoth\u00e9rapies ont donn\u00e9 de bons r\u00e9sultats dans plusieurs types de tumeurs, mais pas dans le cancer de la prostate. Nous pensons que l&rsquo;une des raisons pour lesquelles l&rsquo;immunoth\u00e9rapie n&rsquo;est pas aussi efficace dans le cancer de la prostate est que certains m\u00e9canismes d&rsquo;immunor\u00e9gulation sont en place dans la prostate et ne sont pas connus \u00e0 ce jour. Nous analyserons ici une population de cellules immunitaires, appel\u00e9es cellules lympho\u00efdes inn\u00e9es, dont il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;elles ont un grand potentiel immunomodulateur.
