Over the course of my riding history with Ride For Dad, I’ve had a variety of bikes; a 2000 Honda Valkyrie Tourer, a 2007 VT1100, a 2008 Honda VTX 1800, a 2009 Goldwing, a 2018 NC750X, and now a 2003 Honda ST1300. This is a fast and comfortable bike. Built for long-distance touring, it has plenty of luggage capacity for my wife and me.

We undertook the Kingston Motorcycle Ride for Dad July 24. We were provided with a map and predetermined route which took us from Kingston along ‘curvy-twisty, uppy-downy’ motorcycle backroads all the way to Henderson, near hwy 7, and back. The weather played along nicely with comfortable temperatures under slightly overcast skies.
Thanks to lots of very generous sponsorship donations, we managed to raise a very respectable $1958.-

That is not as interesting for motorcycling, so I cobbled together a more functional trip which would provide plenty of ‘photo opses’ in front of some of the corporate sponsors to show our appreciation
